SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE AT EXPENSIVE TRUWORTHS BRANCH

I purchased a jacket from Truworths, Tygervalley, Bellvile with my debit card. As the jacket entailed a defect, I attempted to return same in 7 days. The branch couldn't assist me with the return as they had no cash at hand. The manager could not provide me with any help or solution other than I had to try other branches... If a big branch like Tygervalley do not have cash at hand, what are the chances that smaller branches will be able to assist? This is totally unacceptable and I am extremely shocked!!!! Any branch, big or small, should be able to assist their customers!!!! Why should the customer have to drive around at own expense looking for a branch with cash at hand???!!!!!
