29 May 2018, 10:11When the customer does not honour their agreement with a credit provider, a default listing will then be added to the customer’s credit bureau report.
Upon review of your account, it was noted that your Truworths account payment was not made by the stipulated due date for 05 March 2018.
As mandated by the National Credit Act (NCA), Truworths (as with any credit granting company), submits information concerning payment profiles of our customers to all credit bureau on a monthly basis. As such, when the account reflected in arrears, a default listing was inserted on your credit report.
As your payment profile held at the credit bureau is a true and accurate reflection of the manner in which you have conducted your account, we are unable to alter or remove this information in any way.
We are however pleased to confirm that subsequent to your payments made by 26 April 2018, the account is now once again up to date with payment, and that an update will be sent to the credit bureau by end May 2018.
