Rude Employee (Phindile ) at Truworths at Cradle stone in the presence of the Manager Brunette Motsie

Good day

I was greatly dismayed by the treatment I received on Friday just after 6 pm at Truworths in cradlestone mall,

I was at the fragrance and makeup section to get a couple of items and from the onset the service was really bad because I waited for a while until I had to ask the security to call someone to come and assist me , I dismissed the annoyance I was experiencing at that moment and I decided not to question why weren't there enough people in that section and also considering that it was month end.

I took a pair of slippers, two Revlon Matte Lipstics and a Nail polish and made my way to the till point, when I arrived there the lady who was assisting me was very rude, she didn't greet me and I kept quite and then I asked her to please wrap the stuff for me because it's a gift for someone and I wanted to drop it off before going home, she looked at me and rolled her eyes and asked me who was assisting me I told her I don't know because there was no introduction done , she murmured and I couldn't hear what she was saying , she then put the items into the plastic bag and I asked her nicely why is she doing that because I asked her to wrap the items , she looked at me again and rolled her eyes and asked me who was helping me , I became furious and told her that firstly I had to wait for someone to assist me , no one has a name tag how am I suppose to know who assisted me , and besides I do not understand the relevance to the question because she also works at Truworths ,everyone there should wear the truworths hat and assist customers , I don't understand why we had to individualize everything , she continued murmuring and the manager came , I lost it and we had a dialogue and what really frustrated me was the bad attitude and her constantly giving me dirty looks ,and rolling her eyes . it was very infuriating , who trains these people ???

I told the manager to void the items , she told me she was sorry , and I told her that clearly this is not the first occurrence because I could not comprehend how would an employee conduct themselves in that manner even in the presence of the manager ,

I asked the manager to give me her name the rude consultant shouted " take my name instead", I was alarmed and part of me assumed that clearly this is something that happens and she usually get's a slap on the wrist and continue conducting themselves in that manner.

I do not see myself being a truworths customer again .
