Rude and Unprofessional - Leandre Boois

I would formally like to lay a complaint against the above store and apparent store supervisor.

I was gifted at my baby shower a little outfit for the arrival of our baby boy. The outfit was new born in size and our little one would never fit it as he already weighs 4kgs Unfortunately the tags had been removed and there was no gift receipt. I’ve received multiple gifts from other stores that’s also new born and they were happy to assist until I reached Truworths. I was firstly greeted by an unfriendly sales consultant who was not interested in assisting and just said I can not be helped. I asked to speak to a manager and before the manager came to me the sales consultant already gave her “opinion” Then the rude “apparent” supervisor came and blatantly told me she can’t help me and I don’t know how their systems work She was not willing to hear me out, all I asked for was an exchange, I did not want anything else but to get my baby an outfit that would fit. I was turned down abruptly and rudely.

What I found EXTREMELY unprofessional and RUDE was how the suppose to be supervisor and sales consultant discussed me when I was about to leave the store. I turned back and called her out on her wrongful doing, only for her to tell me that “ she is doing her job “

Now if this is the service Truworths offers its loyal clients and account holders, I am surely closing all business with them and advising family and friends to do the same. To say that I am disgusted would be an understatement
