Ripoff!!
<p>I bought a phone at Truworths and i was made to believe that i have cell phone insurance , i thought that as iam paying for my Phone monthly then i'm paying for both the phone and Insurance but when my phone was stollen thats when i was told about hollard and i was never told before that hollard will be my insurer and i did not not even fill hollard forms, i even called hollard after i heard that they were supposed to be my insurer and at hollard they said they never received anything form Truworth with my Name or Id number, i called Truworths head Office and the area manager said there is nothing that Truworths can do to help even though it is their consultant's fault that my insurance documents were never sent to the correct place.</p>

We can confirm that the cellphone insurance policy referred to in your post is underwritten by Hollard insurance limited and administered by Finrite.
We have conducted an investigation into this matter and acknowledge receipt of your complaint received via our Call Centre on 07 June 2016.
During this investigation with Hollard it was established that no insurance contract was concluded with them and no payments were further received towards insurance premiums, as such there is no insurance cover currently in place. We believe that the manager of the store was in contact with you on 13 June to advise you in this regard and has further taken the necessary corrective action against the consultant to ensure that this remains an isolated incident.
Following our recent telephonic conversation we have liaised with Hollard in this regard and were able to find an amicable solution to this matter. We further confirm that we have informed you of this and that a representative from their offices will be in contact with you to today to further discuss this matter.
