Returning products at Truworths is a problem

I bought shoes at Truworths.Upon wearing them I started hearing a knocking sound in the heels.I returned them within a week of purchasing them.I was told the shoes are going for quality assessment. A few days later I was told that the shoes did not pass the quality assessment I should come and collect back the shoes seriously!!! I I am not part of the quality assessment and I dont know how it is done,all I know is I am not satisfied with the product .I am disappointed in their failure to resolve this issue!
