Return Policy

The return policy at Truworths has become very tricky. Last year around December, I purchased a suit and after one wash the pants were damaged. I went to Truworths Mall of Africa and the lady said she could only accept the pants and not the jacket as the latter was not damaged. I explained to her that I purchased a suit and I don’t want to keep only the jacket. After weeks of back and forth, I was assisted. Now, 3 months ago I purchased a pair of boots, a very beautiful pair. But after wearing them for an hour, they became uncomfortable. They said it’s due to the shape of the shoe so I cannot return them. And that I should have tried them in store first before purchase which I did. It’s sad that I have to keep shoes that I cannot wear. If I wear them to work, I need to take another pair with? What exactly is the expectation? I am so confused.
