REJECTION FROM QC
Good day,<br> <br> please assist. i am lodging this complaint on behalf of my younger sister. she bought a pair of Hemisphere boots (SF3718) from Jabulani Mall for her boyfriend as a gift on the 19.09.2015. he wore the shoes for a day and the \under-sole\" if i may call it broke. he has been to the store many time without assistance till i intervened on saturday 06.03.2016 to find out what really is the hold up. it appears that this was rejected by QC stating that this happened because he strikes hard on his feet!! a few hours in a shoe resulting from hard strikes, really sounds odd to me at R599.00 surely we pay more and trust the Truworths brand to be of quality!!! please assist in resolving this. these are available should you require them - pictures of the shoes, a copy of the report and the receipt. please assist in getting this resolved.<br> <br> many thanks and regards,"
We acknowledge your frustration and post submitted on behalf of your sister.
Once this matter was brought to our attention, the boots were sent to our Quality Assurance department for a complete assessment.
It has been confirmed, and communicated to your sister that the damage on the shoes is not due to a manufacturing defect. For this reason we will not be able to authorize a credit or return.
We regret that you are not pleased with the outcome of this matter and sincerely hope that you will be able to understand and accept our stance in this matter.
