Refund policy

I was gifted with a top and jeans. The person who bought it for me gave me a receipt and the gift card. The top is too big and the jeans is as well. I went to a store and don’t like anything they have. My partner went to Chatsworth Centre and asked them to refund the items. I don’t like anything that Truworths have and I won’t be buying. It was bought as a gift and the Managers demanded a copy of the card that it was bought on. It was paid in cash with a Nedbank card I don’t understand this!!! I just want my refund what must I do if Truworths has nothing that I would buy??? I have the right not to like what they are selling. I want to use the money elsewhere and I’m disgusted with Truworths making me unhappy by not processing the refund. I’ve given them the slip and the garments with the tags on it as well.
