Rather use BASH for online orders to avoid appalling customer service

I have had the most horrid experience using Truworths online. Their policy is to deliver within 5 to 7 working days. I ordered an item from Truworths online on 21 November 2024. When I checked their website for an update on my order on 02 December 2024 (Day 8) it was apparently with the couriers waiting to be delivered. 03 December 2024 (Day 9) when I checked the website my order had suddenly gone from “with the couriers” TO “they are sourcing my item and it will be delivered within 5 to 7 working days” AGAIN. I phoned but was told it was too late and the online order people had gone home for the day. I engaged with the WhatsApp number on 04 December 2024 (Day 10) and was told that the item is on the courier floor. I told them if they do not deliver it on 4 December 2024 by 17:00 I wanted my money back. At 16:50 I phoned, and the parcel was still on the courier floor after they apparently escalated my case to senior management who OBVIOUSLY DON’T CARE about their customers because nothing was done. I asked for my money back and ordered the item from BASH (THE FOSCHINI GROUP). My item will be delivered before the end of the week. Great customer service and efficient as always. PLEASE USE BASH IF ORDERING ONLINE AS YOU MIGHT WAIT MORE THAN 10 DAYS FOR YOUR ITEM AND IT MIGHT STILL NOT BE DELIVERED. BASH IS QUICK AND EASY WITH AN APP AND DELIVERS WITHIN A DAY OR 2.
