Proof of ID!!!

To say I'm ****ed is the least of what I'm feeling today. I have had a Truworths account for quite a while now and I pay a set R975 a month via debit. I'm in a situation at the moment where I have lost my ID and my driver's have expired and after all this time I still have never received a Truworths card. So when I went shopping today I was told I can't buy on my account as my drivers which has my photo and ID on can't be used because it's expired. I mean really. I pay every month, I have a ton of credit and I was made to feel really embarrassed today in a lime of people. I was just too tired and hot and also in a lot of pain with problem kneed to argue with this man but if I went there earlier I would have caused quite a store. So a R2000 sale had to be cut in half and I had to put some things down which I was buying for a birthday tonight. So I'm super irritated with them today. Shocking, honestly. Surely they could have used my face, photo and I'd number and then certified some info in the system with me before just telling me sorry you can't buy and also looking at me as if I was trying something *******.
