Poor Service at Vredendal Truworths

I visited the store to purchase a few items, including a pair of shoes. I needed assistance with getting a size 8, but unfortunately, the staff on duty were unhelpful and dismissive. I was ignored by one of the employees, and even the security guard attempted to assist me after noticing that I was not being helped.

Eventually, one of the staff members did help me, but she did so with visible attitude and poor customer service. The entire experience was frustrating and unwelcoming.

To make matters worse, when I went to the till to make a lay-by, I was informed that I could not do so due to my credit score. I found this quite confusing and unfair, as lay-bys are typically not credit-based transactions. No clear explanation was given, and I was left feeling disappointed and disrespected.

I expect Truworths staff to treat all customers with dignity and professionalism, regardless of their financial standing. This experience has left me feeling disrespected and unvalued as a customer.
