Poor Service at Cresta Mall Estee Lauder/Clinique Counter

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding an incident that occurred at your Estee Lauder/Clinique counter in Cresta Mall.

During my recent visit yesterday 19/05/2024, I requested to test two different foundations. However, the staff member on duty (a lady, I did not get her name) refused my request, stating that she had already tested an Estee Lauder foundation on me previously. I found this response quite perplexing and disappointing, as it is my understanding that customers should be able to test multiple products to find the best match for their skin tone and preferences.

As a loyal customer and account holder of Truworths with acc no ***, I have always appreciated the high level of service and customer care provided at your stores. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those standards. Being able to test products is a critical part of the purchasing process, especially with cosmetics where matching the right shade and formula is essential.

I believe that this situation was handled poorly and does not reflect the excellent customer service I have come to expect from Truworths. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and ensure that all customers are given the opportunity to test products without unnecessary restrictions in the future.
