Poor service

Today, 16 September 2023, I made a purchase of about R2000 at Truworths. After swiping my buying card, I was told that they didn't have the plastic bags which are free, they onnly have the paper ones and I had to pay R2 for it. R2 was not an issue but the issue was that everytime I visit the shop, I am told the same story. Why can't they tell that now we have to pay R2 instead of making lame excuses of plastic bags being not available all the time while the ones we pay for are always available. Since I didn't pay R2, I had to cancel everything and they were prepared to lose the R2000 purchase since the R2 was not paid. This whole drama was accompanied by an attitude of take it all leave it. I just want Truworths to know that. I just wonder how much has Truworths lost because of poor service like this one. They won't see me any time soon.
