Poor quality of fabric, goods are useless

Few days before giving birth I went to Truworths N1 City to buy seamfree boyleg panties as I have bought these before and knew it would ve comfortable over my c-section cut and would secure sanitary towels nicely. Bought 2 x 3 packs at R210 and R220 respectively, so R430 for 6 panties. To my surprise, the sanitary towels does not stick to the fabric of these panties. I haven't worn them all, decided to return them to N1 City store citing the quality of the fabric is not the same as the panties I purchased before, explained that sanitary towels nor panty liners (which I wear daily) does not stick so the panties does not serve its purpose to me. They said they would need to send it back to quality department and hear what they would have to say, that I would get a response within 7 days. 7 days came and went, only when I probed with social media team did the store eventually call me back with quality team's feedback who said that this is the way the panties are meant to be, that I need to fetch the panties from the store. Umm ok, so Truworths is saying that the panties are supposed to be worn as is, so basically saying that its not meant to be worn with a sanitary towel or panty liner? This then does not serve it's full purpose then, and you guys should accept this return!! I can't see how Truworths can sell such poor quality at an exorbitant price nogal! If I wanted cheap quality I would have gone to China Town and purchased there for a fraction of the cost. I do not want these panties (They're still at N1 City store) and I expect my account to be refunded. Note that I have not paid 2 installments of R120 each until this matter is resolved. If this matter isn't resolved, I will be closing my account because I cannot pay this much for goods that won't serve it's purpose!!!!!!
