Poor Online Service

My husband placed an online order on the 29th of July. The only feedback we've received thus far is that our order is being processed.... AFTER MORE THAN A WEEK. Looking online now, the items we selected are on sale again but at a higher price and our order is STILL BEING PROCESSED. What's going on? Why advertise but not deliver? To top it off hubby sent an email query last night and with half the day gone already he hasn't received a response.
