Poor customer service at truworths lakeside mall

A friend gave me a t-shirt as a gift which he purchased from truworths, I went to change the size in the lakeside mall branch, they refused to assis me without a slip, my friend cut out the price from the tag as it's a gift, how can I now go and ask for receipt and all that, its ridiculous really, they did no even take the time to check if they even have the size I need, very pathetic customer services, I always buy gifts from truworths for my friends and without gift receipts they was able to exchange for a different size, now when I received a gift that requires a change of size, I dont even get anything close to good customer service they didnt even advise me on how to achieve to change the size 9f my t-shirt, just a dont care attitude, all I got is I cant help you, pathetic really!!!! Truworths Customer service lakeside mall sucks! (Store manager who the stuff call Mr T) no help on moving forward from him as well, his support was as pathetic as the staff, he doesn't seem the person for that role!

I called truworths headoffice to lodge a complaint with reference number: D84753 I was told that I will be contacted but till now over 24hrs, no one has taken the time to contact me.
