Pathetic post customer service
I purchased a Daniel Hechter handbag that cost R575 from Truworths Musgrave in January this year and last month I noticed that the rubber edges on the handles of the handbag started to peel off and now the pink cotton threads from the edges is all hanging out and looks very untidy. Yesterday I went to purchase make up from Truworths musgrave and told the supervisor about the poor quality and also showed him the handbag to which he stated that I should bring it in for a quality assessment. He then says that his manager says that if it’s later than 6 months of purchase they cannot assist. I’m deeply disgusted that this is Truworths disloyal policy. So technically you pay R575 for a handbag to last you 6 months. I regret opening my account with them this year and will clear my balance, close the account and shop at Edgar’s in future. This is ******* indeed. Maybe if post customer service was good then stores will not work so hard to reach targets.
