Pathetic customer service
I received a dress as a gift which was purchased from Truworths Galleria and it came with a gift receipt. The dress does not fit me so I needed to change to for another size or a different item.
I took the dress back and Truworths galleria refused to assist me as the dress colour was not as the original. It had some marks that could only be seen under light.
Firstly this was a gift, how am I supposed to check the item and ensure it doesn't have marks, Secondly it doesn't even fit me so I could have not even worn it and lastly they went as far as bringing another dress to compare. This was pathetic customer service. The lady went further stating I was supposed to have seen this what doesn't she understand by a gift and gift receipt.
Truworths should employ someone to do QC on their clothing and put in measures to avoid issues like this as now I am sitting with a gift that I cant do anything with.
Absolutely frustrated with the service I received.
Rather support stores that have abit of customer understanding.
So now I must sit with a gift that's just wasted and your pricing isn't very low so that person who purchased it basically wasted their money. As I said get a QC person in store to ensure your items are in a good state before sold!!!
