Paid up/Settlement letter

my Truworths account was handed over sometime in 2014/2015 after i had lost my job, as soon as i started working i arranged to settle the account at a discount which i then settled in August 2015 and was meant to get my paid up letter within a month, i then went to a Truworts store to request a closure of this account and to my suprise i had a +- R1000 balance i still had to pay and i informed the cashier that this account had been settled so i cant still have a balance which she then referred me back to the people whom the account was handed over to, i have been calling these people since then and everytime i speak to someone they would tell me no one came to them with my account to say it was paid up with a discount which is why it still had a balance of about R1000 or so and they would fix it i should give them a day or 2 and someone will call me or i will receive the letter, DOLOLO!!! i have spoken to a Mrs Herm****, Kagiso Makanda, Mrs Meyer, a Miss/Mrs Barrow(sp) and even more and all of tem tell me the same thing all the **** time!!! i need to get this thing off ITC, ya'll couldnt stop calling me when i missed payments and now that the account is settled i have to chase them for the **** thing, PLEASE!!!!!!
