i have never seen a bad bad bad service like this and i evern wonder what came to my mind to accept this account.I got an account with Truworths and it was taken to VVM collection which I have been paying them nicely with debt order. I decided that I want to settle the account in full because they said I will get a discount. I payed my account on the 27/03/2016. I called v.v.m on the 29/03/2016 to get my paid up letter but they said the account does not show and I called again on the 30/03/2016 same story and on the 31/03/2016 I decided to get my bank statement that shows that I did the payment of R2400 and sent it to v.vm to George Gondo and he said its true they did get my payment but truworths has taken my account somewhere and the cannot give me my paid up letter and they cannot refund me.i called truworths and i decided to do a conference call with truworths head office and V.V.M but i waited till i drop the call to get George on the phone BUT THEY GOT MY MONEY NO PAID UP LETTER

Hello petruh02,

Thank you for your post and allowing us the opportunity to respond.

We have reviewed your Truworths account and can verify that it was indeed settled in full following your payment made on 27 March 2016.

As your account was handed over to Van De Venter Mojapelo (VVM) we liaised with them regarding your concerns raised. We were informed that due to a system error on their part at the time of your request, they were unable to provide you with the required letter. We believe that a representative from VVM has contacted you to apologise for this and the fact they did not issue the letter to you at a later date.

We can verify that the requested letter was subsequently sent to you on 01 April which you confirmed during our telephonic conversation.

We once again wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused and look forward to seeing you in our stores again soon.

Kind regards,

Lynn
