Overrated, very Dissapointed

I'm not very satisfied with Truworths, I bought a present in November (coz that's when I had money) when my father in law opened it this morning it was to small, I went to Truworths Kollenade to exchange the shirt but apparently they cant accept it because it is over 30 days (it was wrapped the whole time with everything as is) the tag is still attached, I had the slip, but they didn't want to help me so now I have a R380 shirt that I can do nothing with. I sure as hell will avoid Truworths in the future if I would want to buy any presents for loved ones. Can I please get any suggestions on what to do with a shirt that is basically useless?
