Overcharged For a purchase
<p>I purchased a mobile phone for R1499 in January 2016 on the 6 month payment plan. From then until now, June 2017 statement in which the installment was billed to my Truworths account that I only noticed now. I then visited all my account statements from now going back to January 2016 to notice the 6 month payment plan went on approx 18 months! I called the call centre and the consultant did not give any explanation other than the phone was paid for a year ago. What happens to all the money my account was unfairly loaded with? Terrible service and a ripoff! </p>

We have established that your purchase for the cell phone was made on 21 January 2016. We confirm that an installment was charged for the cellphone purchase however due to an oversight on our part, the payments received was not correctly allocated towards your cellphone plan.
Following your telephonic conversation with one of our Call Centre consultants on 18 May 2017, we can confirm that the matter was rectified.
