So I accompanied a friend to Truworths on 24/10/15, and while she was still waiting to pay, I went to the make-up-perfume side, looking to get a foundation. So I waited to ask the lady who was there to assist me with a perfect foundation, so first she did not give me attention as she was busy with another customer, making up her face- when she decided to acknowledge me, her response was very :uninterested;" she just said ""ill take long""...so i told her my story anyway- the foundation story- and she said she knows nothing about revlon products- which they sell at this store"

The service described in your post is in no way an indication of the international service standards, we at Truworths strive to provide to all our customers.
In addition to this, every effort is made to ensure that the Estee Lauder counter representatives are knowledgeable and professional, as well as experienced in delivering the personalized service for which Truworths and Estee Lauder are known.
To this end, we forwarded your complaint to the manager of the store in question. We were however informed that the only the supervisor was available.
She informed us that she investigated this matter and has also contacted you to apologize for your experience as it had not been the consultant's intention to upset you. The consultant has also has asked us to apologize on her behalf for the manner in which you felt you were assisted on the day of your visit.
We value your feedback and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patronage. We trust that we have adequately responded to your query.
