Non existing Debt with Truworths for R1170.43

I had a retail account with Truworths , and I paid and settled the account. and requested the salesperson at the point of purchase to close the account. As I wont be needing the account anymore which was done . Where I signed a document a proof, was kept at the store at Randfontein 2016 ,but then all of a sudden on the 15th November 2018.I receive a SMS from DMC Debt collectors stating that my closed account with Truworths has been handed over for an amount of R1170.43.
