no return
i bought a gold bangle - the clip from the start was not closing properly - went to mall several times to return or to exchange - every time i went there it was loadshedding and the mall was covered in darkness - then we went on holiday - when i finally went there to return the manager said - 14 days policy return - i told her i wasnt aware of it - being a customer vor 30 years - as well i told her about the loadshedding and my holiday - as well as the item is only r120? cant she assist me - to no avail - i am stunned that a big company like truworths cant have a vision on something small like this - they can return the item because it is faulty - i only wanted xchange

In line with our Returns policy jewellery, watches and sunglasses with a guarantee must be returned to a store with a jewellery department, within 14 days from the date of purchase. This policy is stated on the back of our till slips.
We have contacted our Store Manager of the store mentioned in your post and were informed that the mentioned item was purchased on 29 April 2015. Both the Store and the Area Manager have reviewed this matter and although they acknowledge the reasons for the late return as stated in your post, they have declined for the return.
We believe that you were informed of this during your telephonic conversation with the Store Manager, and regret that you are not happy with the outcome of your query.
We acknowledge your frustration regarding this matter however trust that you will be able to understand our stance in this regard.
