No professionalism at Trade Route Mall Truworths

On the 5th October 2022, my mother and I, went to Truworths, Trade Route Mall, for our last minute shopping. When we arrived, the doors were closed, and one was only half open. Checking the time, it was 17h35. We asked if we could come in and we were told that the store has closed for the day. We demanded to see Khumbu, the Manager. She came with a very negative attitude, and rudely asked, "who wants to see the Manager?" As we were stunned, a lady came asking to urgently pay her account, she was even willing to give them her Truworths card and money, as she was stressing that her payment due date has passed. She was told all terminals have been closed for end of day. We demanded to know the reason for early closure, and we were told it's due to loadshedding that is happening at 18h00, thus they need to cash up and leave early. It's funny how all the retail stores at the mall were open, but Truworths decided to close their doors at that time, only because they want to go home early, and we as customers had to be inconvenienced. I have been to several Truworths stores who would be very accommodative, 5 minutes before loadshedding. What makes Trade Route Mall special, for them to close the store that early? Sad how I had to pay parking fees for a store that decided to close it's doors before the scheduled time. This is honestly not up to Truworths standards. As for your customer service number, it should operate until your stores close. Truworths Trade Route Mall 👎👎👎
