No PHONE FOR 3 Months!!

Following empty promises and being sent from pillar to post,
I am extremely disappointed and annoyed with this never ending issue.
I bought my phone as a Christmas present December 13 2014.
A week after the phone shut down completely, not able to charge or
even go on. I had to wait until I returned to Joburg to have a phone as the
Truworths in PE advised against me leaving it at their branch.
Now it's been 3 months without a phone after I dropped it in
Sandton Branch first week of Jan. In all honesty if yourself (Truworths) and MTN cannot
find the serial box number on your system, This is not my fault
I've spoken with various managers and sales consultants who have
dismally failed in providing me with a solution driven feedback, an alternative another phone whilst you deal with
your internal system issues or to simply take another one or just admit you don't know what hell is going on and credit me.
I need my phone. Or simply credit me back.
Honestly this is beyond poor service. No one cares!

Hello sibongile25802,

Thank you for your post; we greatly appreciate the opportunity to respond and hope that we can resolve your query.

We have investigated your complaint, and established that your cell phone was sent to MTN for a warranty assessment. MTN however refused to repair the phone, as it appeared that the phone has been tampered with. This matter has subsequently been escalated to senior management at MTN; however, as they are battling with a backlog, we are still awaiting feedback from them regarding this matter.

We believe that you have been updated regarding the progress of your query, but wish to sincerely apologise to you for the delay, and for any inconvenience and frustration caused. We commit to remain in contact with you until such time that this matter has been acceptably resolved.

Kind regards,
Charmaine
