No Exchanges???
Good morning <br> <br> I needed to change a top that had been given to my child as a present - Sunday 14/06/2015<br> <br> Size 30 - I wanted to exchange for 34<br> <br> This item was a present - no slip but the item did still have the tag attached<br> <br> I did not want a refund / other item / conversation and definitely not bad attitude from the manager<br> <br> They would not even let me in the shop --- never mind exchange????<br> <br> What the...<br> <br> The manager was like no we will not help you without a slip.... just NO <br> <br> That morning I had been to exact - no problem to buy or exchange<br> <br> I had been in Woolworth's and Foshini - no problem to buy or exchange <br> <br> Even Pep gives me no problem with exchanging<br> <br> My child is a 13 year old - I often buy and she tries on at home and then I can exchange<br> <br> Over the years I have bought / return or exchanged from these shops<br> Pep<br> Foshini<br> Donna Clair<br> Exact<br> Pep<br> Woolworths<br> Miladys<br> Edgars<br> CNA<br> PNA<br> Chinese shops<br> Jet<br> Clicks<br> Crazy shop<br> Pick n Pay<br> Checkers<br> Game<br> Actually every single other shop I have ever used will gladly exchange for another size<br> I did not want a refund - I just wanted a bigger size<br> <br> What is wrong with Truworths? We have investigated your concerns raised and established that the consultant who assisted you on the day of your visit was not the store Manager but the store Supervisor. This being said, our staff members are required to always treat our customers in a professional manner, and as such we have brought your concerns to the attention of the relevant Store Manager to ensure continuity of our high service standards.
We confirm that you were correctly informed by the Supervisor that the original till slip or gift receipt is required for returns or exchanges, and you were requested you to obtain either of these dockets or details of the purchase for them to assist.
Our returns policy is in place for your protection, as well as ours. It ensures that our customers are aware that we go to great lengths to guarantee that the product they buy off our shelves has never been worn, is in a perfect condition at all times and remains current . As a result, we deem it vital that it is adhered to at all times.
We hope that you will be able to understand our stance in this regard.
