No exchange on shoes
My Sister bought me shoes as a present last year around Christmas at Sandton. I didn't wear them until end of Feb I tried to wear them only to find size 7 doesn't fit me. I went to Northgate to look for size 8 but they didn't have. They told me only Randfontein has size 8 and I need a slip. I asked my sister for the slip and she managed to bring it to me recently. I saw your policy at the back but it was already late for me. Today I went to ask if they could give me a voucher to buy something else but I was told it's too late maybe if I can go to Sandton they'd help me. I didn't even ask for the money. What am I supposed to do with the shoes that don't fit me? I would force them on but they are too tight

19 Apr 2021, 18:28The reason I escalated this to you is because I know what they've told me in the store. I understood that at store level they can't take a decision outside your policy.
1. I thought you'd understand the fact that I didn't have the slip in my possession all this time. I couldn't have read the policy.
2. The shoes have not been worn.
3. I don't want money. I just want a voucher to buy size 8 shoes of that amount.
What does Truworths stand to lose in this regard?
