no delivered but they say they have delivered

yesterday 03.12.24, the courier called to say they were coming to deliver, but was already late after 18:00. but we still said okay it is fine. we called the guy and he said" Wait let me call my assistance", will get back to you" we ended up going to sleep. but this morning we received an sms saying the order was delivered, how? where? we have tried calling the guy again he is giving us a run around. I'm so disappointed
