No customer service

I bought my wife a gift in September as she always shops at Truworths, her birthday is in November on her birthday she received the same product from one of her friends and then took my gift back to the store for a exchange or even a gift card and the manage and area manager refuse to do so after I explained that I bought it was a gift and the only reason I'm back to exchange it becos she received the same product on her birthday

This is atrocious customer service as I'm not wanting the money back I just want a credit so my wife can buy something for her birthday it's not about the money or that I bought in September I just want her to get something else for that amount or a gift card so she can get something

Truworths has no customer service at all the product is not been use or even taken out of the box

This is the second year I have a problem with truworths last year i bought a watch set for her for Christmas and the gold came off the next day when we took it back they did not want to take it back it took as 3 turns to the store to get it sorted

I will not shop at truworths ever again
