Never buy from Truworths, they return policy is the worst l have ever experienced
Purchased an item at Truworths Westgate mall and when l wanted to return it l was told that l need to physically have the credit card that was used for the purchase. I then contacted their head office and was given different information stating that the store could do the exchange without the credit card, however when l conveyed that information to the store it was disregarded and had to contact the head office again and Emmy that was the supervisor on duty told me that unfortunately they cannot assist me and l need to take time out of my own time and read about their terms and conditions as l had indicated that that information is not written at the back of their slips. Had l known that is their policy l would'nt have shopped from them. I intend on returning their items and getting a refund after this encounter and will never buy from them again.

When an item is returned and all the requirements of our Returns Policy are met, we will allow a full refund in the original method of tender.
As the payment was made with a credit card, we confirm that you were correctly informed in store, that you need to have this card on hand when the credit of the item is actioned in store. We also confirm that this was communicated to you in store.
We once again apologise for the frustration resulting from this matter, however trust that we were able to acceptably address your concerns raised.
