Negligent pricing of perfume denied. CPA policy breached

On 15 December 2023 I went to GATEWAY Truworths to purchase a perfume. The 100ml Narciso Roderiguez was incorrectly priced at R2795 and the fragrances staff refused to sell the item to me at that price. It is not my fault or negligence for the error as that is the price I saw the item at. The fragrances consultant together with a lady Marlene approached the store manager who was busy have an idle chat with a colleague. He blankly said they will have to do an inquiry. The fragrances manager refused to explain as well. Such obnoxious and unprofessional behaviour of staff. Seems like the staff at this store are only helpful when they get a sale but otherwise it’s clear how they truly feel about customers. Despicable indeed. It is evident that some staff are working for the income and not the outcome. This is the first time I have encountered this type of pathetic customer delivery at a Truworths store.
