My Watchers are missing. Truworths Cape Gate

I dropped my watchers off at Truworths Cape Gate on the 13th June 2015 and the expected date i would get it back is 13th July. Well its the 16th August 2015 and no one has informed me on where my watchers are. I have gone in 8 times and phoned about 10 times. This morning i phoned in again and i get the same response from them. Its not there and they will contact the supplier and get back to me witch NEVER happens. When i called the second time this morning the guy says to me he doesn't know where my watches are. I can contact the manager tomorrow if i want. The service is disgusting. My husband has already spoken to the manager and he couldn't even help us and says we must just wait. In my eyes they have just lost R 1500.00 of ours.

Hello meganroux,

Thank you for your post.

We were concerned to read about your experience as the service described in your post is totally unacceptable.

We therefore immediately liaised with the relevant Store Manager to attend to this matter. We were informed that the delay in receipt of one of the watches was caused due to the supplier not having the required parts available. This being said, the store did not follow the correct procedure as they were to provide you with feedback on a regular basis on the status of your query.

We believe that the Store Manager called you on 24 August, on the number provided in your post and spoke to your husband and informed him that the Lanco watch has been returned and is awaiting collection. Further to this, a credit has been approved for the Bad Boy watch.

We wish to once again apologise for the delay in our response and for the lack of feedback provided pertaining to your query. We can assure you that this matter has been escalated to the relevant management team to ensure that this does not occur in future.

We hope that we were able to adequately attend to your concerns.

Yours sincerely,

Lynn
