Missing payment

I'm very disappointed and beyond upset with how truworths handles customer queries. I have an account with truworths that I have been paying well for past years, however due to lock down that took place, 1 couldn't make payment to the store and received sms with account details to make EFT payments to my truworths account, of which I did make a payment. To my surprise truworths has a nerve of informing me that my payment isn't reflecting and there no sense of emergency on solving our queries or tracing the number on the Standard bank they provided. The very same people that sent me sms to make payment via EFT are the ones calling me from collection department to make arrangements which is totally insane. I have never missed any payments and I intend not to but surely closing this stupid and absurd account with truworths.
