Misleading customers with False information - do not buy online!!!

I am extremely livid! Truworths online shopping is an absolute joke. Their website explicitly states 3-5 working days for online delivery. It has been 10 working days and still no sign of this parcel - and this despite numerous follow ups since day 5 when it became apparent that I wasn't going to get this delivery within their delivery terms!! Truworths misleads customers by stating on a public forum that delivery is 3-5 working days! They DO NOT adhere to their delivery terms and then have the audacity to charge for a service they cannot render. When I asked for the order to be cancelled, I was told that they cannot cancel an online order and I must wait for the delivery and then return it to a Truworths store - REALLY????? SO I must pay for a service/delivery and wait 2 weeks for the delivery and then return it to a store?! What an absolute farce this store is. This is now the second time this has happened. I gave them the benefit of the doubt this time round but can guarantee you this was the absolute last time I bought anything online from these people who are misleading their customers with false information. I am certain it is against the law to tell your customers you cannot cancel an order once it has been placed!! I am fed up with the incompetence of your customer call centre as well. I have been getting smses stating that my parcel will be delivered by end of week and 2 weeks later, still nothing! My BEST ADVICE to customers is to NOT purchase anything online from Truworths unless you prepared to wait in excess of 2 weeks for a delivery. USELESS!!! And don't expect to get any reply from them apart from a general note to say, we will look into the matter and then never to be heard from again.
