Mislead

I got retrenched last year December and I went straight to the Truworths store to explain what happened. The man checked my account and told me that I have an insurance on my account and have been paying it and that means Truwoths will be able to pay off my account. However, they sent me an sms in January to say I must pay my account. I sent them an email explaining what I already told the man at the store and was advised to go to the store, i sent back and was told to fax my retrenchment letter, ID copy and my latest payslip which I did. But now they are sending sms's and emails demanding that I must pay my account. I was told that the insurance people will call me to sort out my issue and nobody has called me yet from December. They have sent an email now to say they demand the payment otherwise my credit record will be ruined. I don't know what to tell these people anymore, how will I pay my account if i don't have a job and iI

have been paying insurance for my account. What;s the use of paying insurance if it cannot cover you?
