Leaking Elizabeth Arden Perfume

Bought a Red Door Perfume set. Found that the set was leaking and took it back for an exchange. The manager refused to take back a sealed product and instead loaded a query. Today I received a call from a Truworths supervisor Khethiwe who I agreed to call back after my meeting. On calling her she was on tea and I called back 45 mins later but she did not receive the message to call me. All she said was that my query was rejected. She had no knowledge of what happened so I explained the situation and said I could have brought the product sooner but I was hospitalised. Being very inconsiderate her 1st question was that why didn't I send my husband. Whilst being hospitalised no one thinks of anything besides getting out of hospital. Nevertheless I asked her to get the manager to call me because by now I was upset with her. To my surprise she did not know who she was talking to and asked for my name and number. I said to her that if you called me earlier how come you don't know my name. She was rude and said she wasn't given my name. I said to her that is terrible customer ethics, she said in a loud tone - do you want me to lie to you that I know your name. This is the first time I experienced such terrible disrespect and such terrible service from Truworths. How can you have a supervisor like that? No knowledge, no manners and no customer services - not even telephone ethics.

We were concerned to read about your experience and therefore immediately contacted the Manager of the respective store.
We were informed that on the day of your visit, you were advised that a return could not be authorized, as the item was not in the same condition as when it was bought.
We established that the manager, the Elizabeth Arden consultant, as well as the Area Manager assessed the perfume in question, and confirmed that it was leaking due to the bottle that was cracked.
