Incorrect listing
I have been paying my Truworths account of for a number of months. I pay diligently by the 7th of each month. The arrangement is for R500.00 per month but I normally pay a bit more. Truworths has gone and listed me on ITC with a reason \Bad debt written off". This is falls information as they have not written off 1c on my account. I pay it every month and there is a balance of just over R7000 left. I have queried this but as usual there is no service - they don't even get back to me let alone resolve the issue. All I want is a letter confirming that I have an arrangement and that they have not written off money on my account. Is that to much to ask?"""

Upon receipt of your post, we liaised with our Legal Department and would like to advise that the term \bad debt written off\" is simply used to refer to any account that has been handed over to an external collections agency. This does imply that the actual debt has been disregarded.
