I returned a damaged dress which i bought on the 14/12/2017 so when i got to the store i was that it can't be credited back into my account as it needs to be taken in for quality check first. To my surprise they refused to show me their policy
I feel that its unfair to me as a consumer to be told about policies which you don't know about and they made me feel inferior like i deliberately damaged the dress

We acknowledge your frustration with regards to this matter. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that our customers are provided with quality garments of international standards, we are aware that quality inconsistencies may occur, and as such developed our returns policy.
When merchandise presents with a potential quality issue, our process is to first assess the item at store level. If the Manager is unable to make a technical decision in store, the item is sent to our Head Office for a further assessment to be conducted by our team of Quality Assessors.
We confirm that this was done following your visit to the store. We have liaised with the Store Manager of our store mentioned in your post and she is committed to providing you with feedback once our Quality Assurance department has provided the outcome of the assessment.
We trust that we have satisfactorily attended to this matter for you and believe that this matter will be successfully resolved once the assessment has been concluded.
Kind regards,
Truworths Online Team
