I had a Truworths clothing account that was handed over when I lost my job

I had a Truworths clothing account that was handed over when I lost my job. After 9 months I got employed and went to Truworths to settle the account. They gave me a WhatsApp number (+***3) to request my balance. I received the balance, paid it in full, and have proof showing my account was R0. Three weeks later, when I requested a paid-up letter, I was referred to DMC, who claimed I still owed R318.61. I paid this as well and sent proof, but when I checked again, the balance had increased to around R340 and was now showing under a different agency, Black & Activist. This process has left me feeling ****med and unsupported. I am disappointed that Truworths has failed to resolve this and has allowed my account to be passed between agencies with inconsistent balances.
