I got an injury at Truworths Carlton Centre in Jhb, inside the shop and my case was not attended until today

It was the 18th June 2019 where I got an injury after I fell inside the shop, Truworths Carlton Centre in Jhb. There was a hole in one of the steps and there was no sign which indicates danger or hazard.

Two staff members came to assist me to stand up, however, I didn't know their names hence they did not have their name tags while still on duty.

I went to the till limping and having a pain at my back and left knee. I told two ladies who were assisting me that I fell inside the shop on the hole. They only said to me: "sorry, these people must try to close that hole before other people got injured." It ended there.

I went home untill I see that I'm getting worse then consulted at the clinic. He send me for X rays after the doctor got X-ray results I was booked off sick for 2weeks...after the Dr refered me to physiothe******. As per findings.

I called the manager at the branch she said she doesn't know anything and she didn't get any report with regard to that Incident. She will find out from staff members and report to the senior manager.

The senior manager called me to find out on what happened. I explained the story to him. After some days he requested me to send him a medical report from the doctor. I did as per his request, again he asked me to send him all the receipts from the doctors. I couldn't give them because I was consulting the Dr from public clinic due to affordability. I asked him what to do in this case because this thing ended up here due to negligence of his staff members who did not follow the right procedure as Policy if there's a fall inside the shop. He couldn't answer that one. Until today and it's 2022 now.

The most painful thing is that this spasm at my back and my left knee still gives me a problem even today especially when it's cold, It's painful and I have to apply warm compression to minimize the pain if it get painful n need to buy myself a bit of stronger analgesia.

I can't let it go even today especially when I got pain, all memories are coming back. Please help.
