I cant Allow My account to be debited by strangers
I got involved in an accident in April in Zimbabwe and took a while for me to return to SA and in due course was unreachable and was unable to pay my accounts. I do accept that skipped 2 payments against my account in a row with truworths. The first person to call me and ask why was that was apparently from MBD and they called me only after I had ALREADY paid R2000 in store which was a few rands over my installment due per month. First big problem I had with the caller from MBD is she demanded me to allow them to debit my account for the next three months and I disagreed to that because I still prefer paying in store. They still call me and demand that I make arrangements with them and I have said so many times that I pay R2000 in store till I finish, which I also called Truworths and they promised me I will not get calls from MBD again. I hereby complain because on the 24th July I got a call and after that I called Truworths to complain about these calls but still I just got another call at 19.42hrs today. Come on guys MBD is not the reason am paying my account but they are rather disturbing me everyday yet I can pay in store why should they demand arrangements daily?
Thank you for your post and affording us the opportunity to respond.
Although your account is being handled by Munnik Basson Da Gama (MBD) to do collections on our behalf, you may still make payment on your account at any Truworths store.
We can confirm that a payment arrangement was noted on your account on 17 July 2015. Your credit worthiness is an asset and we therefore urge you to honor this agreement.
MBD will contact you from time to time to see if your financial situation has changed and to remind you of the payment arrangement.
We look forward to seeing you in our stores again soon.
Kind regards,
Lynn
