When the customer does not honour their agreement with a credit provider, they will then add a default listing to your credit bureau report. Upon review of your account, it was noted that your Truworths account payment was not made by the stipulated due date for January 2015.
As mandated by the National Credit Act (NCA), Truworths (as with any credit granting company), submits information concerning payment profiles of our customers to all credit bureaux on a monthly basis. As such, when the account reflected in arrears for January 2015, a default listing was added to credit bureau report.
As your payment profile held at the credit bureaux is a true and accurate reflection of the manner in which you have conducted your account, we are unable to alter or remove this information in any way.
We are pleased to confirm that subsequent to your last payment made, the account is now once again up to date with payment.
We trust that we have adequately attended to this matter.
Kind regards,
Charmaine
