Huge disappointment over cancelled order
On 1 August, I found a dress that was absolutely awesome, but it was a bit tight and the store didn't have a bigger number. No problem, I was told. A cashier gave me brilliant service by instantly ordering a bigger size for me from Tzaneen. I was told it would arrive within 3 weeks and I was thrilled. (I opted out of paying the R40 for delivery within a week, which I now regret, cause maybe things would have played out differently?)

I patiently waited for the lovely dress to arrive at my local store. It never did.

Yesterday (3 weeks after the order date), I just got an SMS saying the dress (MY dress!!) had been sold and that my order (***5) had been cancelled.

Really?! It took 3 weeks to come up with that response? I definitely expected more from them. I would have understood if the dress was sold on the day I ordered it, due to another customer in the line being busy paying for it, or even a day or two afterwards. But three weeks later?!

I'm heartbroken and seriously disappointed. :-(

P.S. I got another SMS this morning saying I owe Truworths R27. I haven't had time to check details, but would be even more disappointed if it relates to this non-service.

We acknowledge receipt of your Customer request order placed on 01 August 2015; during the sourcing process we discovered that there was no more stock of the requested item available anymore. We contacted all stores within SA which showed to have stock of the item in the size that you required but regretfully could not fulfill your order.
