Holes in garments

Quality of the clothing is sad for the price I pay. All the t-shirts I purchased have holes on them from the security tag that you put on. I know it's protocol because of theft but really is there not another way you can put those tags on so that when I buy a garment I get the complete item that I pay for as well as no holes in it?
