Harrassment

My account has handed over to MBD by Truworths, and I made arrangements for a debit order with MBD,and just two days after that I received an SMS from Truworths telling me I need to urgently make a payment, then two days after I received a call which I did not answer,so when I spoke to this lady from MBD she assured me that I will not get any calls or sms unless the debit order is not paid to my surprise I still get from both MBD and Truworths ,I am also being charged for a club magazine I never subscribed to and I am being charged for sms and calls even after an arrangement was made all this charges and money making scheam to ensure one never settles their debt,I will never ever in my life advice people to take an account with them.

I am so disgusted by truworths that I am even seeking legal advice after being harassed so much by them and mbd even after a debit order went through my account they still threaten to list me on ict saying I did not pay while I have proof of debit order for my account

Thank you for your post.
We acknowledge your frustration regarding communications about the status of your Truworths account. However, would like to advise you that when an account reflects in arrears, the account holder will receive various forms of communication, in order to obtain a suitable payment arrangement.
It is also important for us to inform our customers that their creditworthiness is an asset, and we are concerned that the account will incur late payment fees and that your profile held with us and at the credit bureaus would be negatively affected.
We would like to advise that we do not have a club magazine available and therefore can confirm that we are certainly not charging you for one.
We sincerely apologise if you felt that our collections process was in any way offensive and regret that the communication sent was not perceived in the manner which it was intended for. We confirm that it was certainly not our intention to cause you any unnecessary frustration.
We encourage you to contact us on *** or via email to *** should you have any further inquiries, comments or suggestions and we will gladly assist.
