HARASSMENT from Truworths Call Center
I have found myself in a distressing situation with the Truworths call center that I feel compelled to share. For what seems like an eternity, I have been inundated with calls—sometimes as many as six a day—regarding an individual supposedly linked to my phone number who has outstanding accounts. Despite my repeated explanations that this is not their number, the calls keep coming, and the situation has become unbearable.
At first, I attempted to resolve the issue calmly, explaining to the agents that I am not the person they are trying to reach. However, as days turned into weeks, and the calls persisted, my patience wore thin. I even went as far as to scream during one of these calls, expressing my frustration at being mistakenly identified as this individual. I have spoken to supervisors, pleaded for my number to be removed from their system, and yet nothing seems to have changed.
This relentless harassment has taken a toll on my mental well-being. It feels as though my concerns are falling on deaf ears as Truworths continues to bombard me with calls. It's baffling that a large company like Truworths does not have a more efficient system in place to verify contact information before they commence such aggressive outreach. The lack of proper screening not only inconveniences innocent individuals like me, but it also reflects poorly on their customer service practices.
To anyone considering engaging with Truworths service or lending them your business, I strongly advise caution. If this is how they treat individuals who are not even their customers—bombarding them with calls and ignoring clear requests to cease—one must question their overall responsiveness and responsibility.
In conclusion, I urge Truworths to take a hard look at their call management policies and implement necessary changes to prevent this type of harassment from happening in the future. I'm at my wit's end and sincerely hope this review serves as a wake-up call to a company that seems to have lost sight of common courtesy and respect for individuals’ privacy. Truworths, please take note: this is not Mr Phofi 's number, and it is time to stop the relentless calling.
