Harassment from Truworths
I have been a loyal client supporting the Truworths stores for many years. I always maintained a good credit record with Truworths but it seems a slight delay in payment as well as not going to make physical payment at a store causes the staff manning the call centre at Truworths to barbarically hold you hostage for payment that was in fact made through electronic banking channels. I have been hounded non-stop telephonically as it seems that the data capturing personel who are in charge of receipting eft payments are too disinclined to allocate it appropriately. Is it policy to treat all loyal Truworths customers as hard core *********? I am livid at the way I was harassed even though I am not late with a months payment. I intend closing my account and advising others to do so as well due to the pathetic and unprofessionalism of the Truworths management and staff!
Thank you for your post.
Our customers are important to us and we value the relations that we have established over the years. It is therefore our responsibility to inform customers as soon as their accounts fall in arrears so that they can make the necessary arrangements to get their accounts up to date. We are also concerned that your account will incur interest if payment is not made by the stipulated due date.
EFT payments usually take up to four working days to reflect on our bank statement and it is uploaded to your Truworths account systematically.
Our apologies for the manner in which you felt the collections process was dealt with, however, we are pleased to confirm that your account has since been brought up to date with payment.
We trust that this matter has been acceptably responded to. If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us on ***, or send an e-mail to ***.
Kind regards,
Lynn
